OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: It is aimed to recognize the central function units at the upper levels from the cochlea in the hearing process,, to understand the importance of the central dimension of hearing, to gain knowledge and attitudes about auditory processing functions and their disorders.
Contents of the Course Unit: Auditory processing processes and functions, disorders, differential diagnosis, special test methods and treatment approaches.

Describes the anatomical features of the hearing organ.
Studies the physiological mechanisms of hearing.
Describes the clinical features of central auditory processing disorders.
Describes the principles of special central hearing test methods.
Performs tests to diagnose central auditory processing disorder.
Composes a rehabilitation program suitable for central auditory processing disorder.
