OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS |

Objectives of the Course Unit: | It is aimed to distinguish the Medical and Radiological terms related to the Movement System, Respiratory System, Gastrointestinal System, Central Nervous System, Circulatory System, Urogenital System and other organs, to gain the necessary information to be pronounced, written and used correctly. |
Contents of the Course Unit: | Introduction to Medical Terminology, Basic Definition and Terms of Human Structure, Rules of Reading Medical Terms, Fusing letters, Elements of Medical Terms; pre-addition, suffix, root structures, fusing letters, medical abbreviations, blood and blood-forming organs, lymph and immune system related terms, cardiovascular system related terms, respiratory system related terms, digestive system system related terms, eye related terms, urinary system related terms, genital system system related terms, ear related terms, Eponyms, Synonyms, Nervous System and Psychiatric Diseases, Internal Secretion and Metabolism Disorders and terms related to the motion system. |
