OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS |
Objectives of the Course Unit: |
Enable students to learn arterial and venous cannulation techniques used in cardiopulmonary bypass, understand their anatomical placement, become familiar with the equipment used, and gain the skills necessary to perform safe and effective cannulation procedures. |
Contents of the Course Unit: |
Cardiopulmonary bypass equipment, cardiopulmonary bypass circuit, correct cannula selection and cannulation |
