OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The aim of this course is to gain knowledge about medical blood diseases.
Contents of the Course Unit: Structure and shaped elements of blood, Endothelial cell types and functions, Erythrocyte functions, Leukocyte functions, Platelet functions, Blood plasma and functions, Blood proteins, Blood gases, Coagulation and fibrinolysis tests, Anticoagulants, Atherosclerosis formation, Hematological approach to thrombotic risks, Markers of cardiac damage and clinical applications, Markers of cardiac damage and clinical applications
