OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS |
Objectives of the Course Unit: |
The aim of this course is to teach the basic subjects of microbiology and infectious diseases. |
Contents of the Course Unit: |
Introduction to general microbiology, general concepts related to microorganisms, structure of microorganisms, cell structure of bacteria, reproduction and development of bacteria, examination of cultures, relationship with immunology and infections, serological reactions, clinical syndromes of pathogen bacteria, infection mechanism as well as other spirochetes, chlamydia, fungi and viruses; also parasites, protozoa, helminth definitions, human effects, laboratory diagnoses, epidemiology, pathogenesis and treatment |

Explain the classification of medical microbiology, parasitology and virology. |
Explain the structure of bacteria, reproduction, metabolism. |
Evaluate infections caused by microorganisms and epidemic effects on humans and communities. |
Explain the importance of sterilization, disinfection, antisepsis. |
Explain the mechanism of action of various antibiotics and chemotherapeutic agents in the field of treatment. |
Explain the basic concepts of immunology. |
Explains the basic concepts of the immune system. |
Elimination of the effects of infection caused by microorganisms, food and water relates to the destruction of microorganisms that cause degradation. |
