OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: It is aimed to gain knowledge and skills related to the analysis, design and implementation of curricula and plans applied in pre-school education institutions.
Contents of the Course Unit: The basic principles of curriculum development, the introduction of the MEB 2013 Pre-School Program Guide, the use of the application supplements of the guide, the design, implementation and evaluation of preschool education according to the curriculum guide, MEB 2013 OBADER Pre-School Education Program Integrated Family Support Education, MEB EBA: Pre-School Education Activity Pool Analysis, Education programs that are widely used in the world in early childhood.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Evaluates the MEB 2013 Program Guide according to the basic components of program development.
Organizes the program application supplements in accordance with MEB’s instructions.
Plans daily-monthly education flow in accordance with MEB’s preschool curriculum.
Arranges the concept-achievement tables in accordance with the MEB Preschool curriculum.
Creates the development observation form in accordance with the MEB pre-school curriculum.
Examines innovative approaches used in preschool education.
Evaluates the MEB OBADER 2013 Guidelines.
Examines the MEB EBA Activity Pool to develop a curriculum.
