OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: It is aimed to gain knowledge, skills and attitudes regarding the history and foundations of social policy and awareness about the relationship between child development and social policy and equipping.
Contents of the Course Unit: Definition of social policy, social policy analysis, history and models, role of governments in social policy, social welfare models and social policy, social policies for the elderly and the disabled, health and social security policies, unemployment and employment policies, social assistance policies, migration policies and refugees social policies towards children, social policies towards children, social policies towards family and women
