OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The aim of this course is to enable students the place, importance and functions of travel agencies and tour operators in the tourism distribution system and to learn preparation package tours.
Contents of the Course Unit: This course includes : the organization, structure and functions of travel industry businesses, travel agencies and tour operators and the basic forms of tour planning.

Define the organizational structure and operation of travel businesses.
Compare the operations and organizational structures of travel agencies and tour operators.
Illustrate the legal regulations related to travel agency.
