OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The aim of the course is to make the student comprehend the introduction to morphology, the constructions and conjugation suffixes in Turkish and the functions of verb structures.
Contents of the Course Unit: The course includes introduction to morphology, construction and conjugation suffixes in Turkish and the structure and functions of verbs.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

List the characteristics of the morphological structure of the Turkish language.
Apply word derivation methods.
Analyze Turkish words morphologically.
Compare the morphological structure of Turkish with the morphology of Turkish historical dialects.
Plan new methods for morphological examination of Turkish words.
