OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to define the basic principles related to the theory of flight and to examine the structural and aerodynamic features of the aircrafts.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include the history of aircrafts, flight theory, properties and classification of flying objects, basic concepts, main elements of aircrafts, standard atmosphere, basic principles of flying.

Explain the history and development of aircrafts. (2)
Analyze the flying objects. (4)
Recognize the main elements and functions of airplanes in basic level (1)

Explain the layers and the physics of the atmosphere. (2)
