OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to introduce basic concepts in mathematics and states importance of mathematics and analytic thinking.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include mathematical modelling, number systems and basic concepts, functions, single variable function- linear models, derivatives, derivatives of non-linear functions, applications in derivatives and maximum and minimum, drawing graphs of function, tangent line approach and differentials, economical applications in derivatives, multi-variable functions, local extremums, economical applications in multi-variable functions,

Interpret the properties of functions and function graphs.{Apply/ Bloom's 3}
Creates the line equation and draws the line graph.{Evaluate/ Bloom's 5}
Evaluate the limit of functions on a given point, find the limit from the graph of functions, and determine the continuity for a given point. {Evaluate/ Bloom's 5}
Define the derivation of a function by limit {Knowledge/ Bloom's 1}, Apply the derivation rules of a function. {Apply/ Bloom's 3}
Write tangent and normal line equations, solve administration problems by derivation.{Apply/ Bloom's 3}
