OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to understand the concept of data, to model different structures, to list the functions of databases, to create the necessary infrastructure to develop queries by using relational databases.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include the subjects such as data concept, data structures, data models, access to databases, database components, relational databases, table creation, indexing, sorting and querying.

Describe concepts of data and database.
Discover the relational data model.
Experiment the relational structure of a business's information system.
