OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The aim of this course is to provide to students the methods that will make logistics processes more environmentally, sensitive and the methods to reduce their Course content, carbon footprint; In addition, it aims to provide the ability to calculate greenhouse gas emissions.
Contents of the Course Unit: Course content, Basic concepts; analysis of logistics and supply chain components such as procurement, storage, production and distribution; and calculations of greenhouse gas emissions, Turkey and the world green logistics operating covers the topic.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Explain the concepts of greenhouse gas and air pollution.
Defines the differences between reverse logistics and logistics.
Can detect the shortcomings of transport modes.
Compares the emissions of transport modes.
Analyzes logistics models.
