OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to examine innovative work in the field of media and multimedia, including videographic and computer-generated visuals, audio and textual applications of media in media design and discussions that conceptualise them, and studies in the field of media and communication.
Contents of the Course Unit: It introduces, examines and evaluates the conceptualisation of media design and research on the subject, design processes in media studies within the framework of media design principles, elements of design and the importance of design in the effective use of media.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Defines the basic principles of basic media design.
Explains the features that media designs should have.
Explains media visuals by analysing media design examples.
Interprets the scope of creative work in media studies.
Discusses the connection between analysis and interpretation and inference about media design.
Explains how the design process occurs in media design.
