| Objectives of the Course Unit: |
This course aims to introduce the concept of customs, which is one of the most important tools for Foreign trade and Turkish Customs Legislation. |
| Contents of the Course Unit: |
Contents of the course include the subjects as in definition of Customs and Turkish Customs Legislation, its applications. |

| Remember basic information about import, export and customs legislation. |
| Define the basic documents used in foreign trade. |
| Define the methods of valuation of goods arriving the customs area according to national and international laws and rules. |
| Remember any irregular transactions that may occur in customs procedures and custom house fines arising from them. |
