OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	To develop the critical thinking, safe information-seeking, and digital well-being skills required by the digital age in students.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Information and media literacy; search strategies and open-access resources; digital ethics, copyright, and plagiarism; reliability and use of generative AI tools; cybersecurity, data privacy, and digital footprint; online collaboration platforms; digital fatigue, cognitive load management, and psychological well-being in digital environments.

LO2: Identify advanced search strategies, reliable open-access resources, and academic databases utilized in translation processes and academic research. Application: LO3: Apply generative AI tools effectively within ethical boundaries and proper operational logic for language learning and translation workflows. LO4: Utilize online collaboration and computer-supported collaborative learning (CSCL) platforms functionally in project-based tasks. Analysis: LO5: Critically analyze and verify misinformation, fake news, manipulative content, and deepfake materials encountered in digital environments. LO6: Examine digital ethics, copyright laws, Creative Commons licensing models, and types of plagiarism within the context of translation studies. Synthesis & Evaluation: LO7: Formulate personal and professional data security strategies by evaluating digital footprints, online identity management, cybersecurity risks, and phishing threats. LO8: Evaluate the impacts of digital fatigue, technostres, cognitive load, and screen time on digital well-being, and propose coping strategies.
