OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to build foundation to provide solutions for various economic problems based on statistics and to evaluate what needs to be done in order to make the right decisions during the economic forecasts for the future.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include the subjects as in Multiple Regression, deviations from assumptions, autocorrelation, multiple linear connection, changing variance autoregressive models, distributed lagged models, dummy variable, systems of simultaneous equation.

Define the basic econometric concepts
Explain the econometrics-related terms, forecast and prediction techniques through case studies
Use the basic econometric estimation methods for future economic forecasts
Analyze the validity of economic theory by using econometric techniques
Compare the relationships between economic variables in econometric terms
