OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: At the end of this course, students; will be knowledgeable about basic education principles and methods, will be able to understand the structural features of secondary education curricula and will be able to recognize the contributions of secondary school teachers to the development of educational programs.
Contents of the Course Unit: Basic Concepts: Learning, Teaching, Principles, Methods, Curriculum, Curriculum Development Principles of Learning and Teaching The Importance and Benefits of Planned Study in Teaching Teaching Methods: Lecturing, Discussion, Case Study, Problem Solving, Individual Study, Demonstration Elements of the Curriculum Stages of Curriculum Development Structure of the Preschool Education Program Implemented in Turkey Principles of Goal Writing Progressive Classification of Goals: Cognitive Domain, Affective Domain, Psychomotor Domain Planning of Learning Activities Planning of Evaluation Activities The Role of the Teacher in the Development of Secondary Education Curriculums
