OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The objective of the course is to help students gain the knowledge and skills and to apply a general training program by using the knowledge gained about training principles and methods.
Contents of the Course Unit: Content of the course covers the basic concepts in training, features aimed to be developed by training, effects of training on organism, training planning principles, relation between resting and loading and general loading principles, conditional features and training methods.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Define the basic concepts of science of training.
Describe training principles and methods.
Discuss the effect of training on motor properties.
Explain the effects of relation between resting and loading on performance.
Apply the training program using the knowledge gained in relation to the training principles and methods.
