Objectives of the Course Unit: | The objective of the course is to help students gain knowledge and skills to apply exercises for the fitness branch in advanced level and prepare a fitness exercise program. |
Contents of the Course Unit: | Contents of the course include; Fitness contest rules, the role of fitness trainers and communication skills, complementary exercises, physiological and psychological effects of different fitness training techniques and injuries, physiological and psychological effects of nutritional supplements in fitness training, cardiovascular exercises, exercises made with body weight, exercises made with exercise machines, fitness machines and free weights, errors and technical corrections made during applications for the fitness branch, exercise program planning principles before and after the fitness contest. |
