Objectives of the Course Unit: | This course aims to introduce the main topics, theories, and applications in Computer Networks and operating systems. |
Contents of the Course Unit: | This course provides students with the fundamentals of Data Communications and Computer Networks and examines operating system design concepts and system programming fundamentals. It covers network topologies, circuit and packet switching, switching and routing protocols, network management, and security. It also covers computer and operating system architectures, process management, file systems, and memory management. |
