OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: To teach the students the basic concepts of computer hardware, software, networks, number systems and programming languages which are basic computer science subjects in the field of computer engineering.
Contents of the Course Unit: Course content includes basic engineering concepts related to computer science, computer hardware, software, networks, number systems and programming languages covered by computer engineering, and topics related to theoretical background of computer science.

The students who take the course will be able to; I. Explains basic engineering concepts related to computer science and associates them with the theoretical background of computer science. II. Analyzes and evaluates existing application areas in computer engineering. III. Can use appropriate analytical methods, modeling techniques, modern techniques and tools for topics in computer engineering.
