Objectives of the Course Unit: | Introduction of materials used in passenger aircraft, types of materials used in aircraft and the characteristics of the structure of the material. |
Contents of the Course Unit: | Characteristics of Common Alloy Steels Used in Aircraft, Heat Treatment of Steel, Hardness, Tensile Strength, Fatigue Strength and Impact Resistance Tests of Ferrus Materials, Characteristics of Common Non-Ferrus Materials Used in Aircraft, Magnesium-Titanium Alloys, Heavy Metals-Light Metals, Non-Hardware, Tension Materials Strength, Fatigue Strength and Impact Resistance Test, Composite and Non-Metallic (Non-Metallic), Corrosion, Fastener (Linkers), Gear wheels, Bearings, Electrical materials |
