OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: Initially, to make the student describe the individual himself and his behavior. Then by taking behaviour theories into consideration, to be able to evaluate the reasons of human behaviours (neuro-biologic, genetics and social environmental effects) in general frame and to contribute the student to reinterpret human, his behavior and their interaction process with the environment by acquired information by observing human’s behaviour in his interaction with the social environment.
Contents of the Course Unit: Who is human? What is behaviour? Hierarchy of behavior, social environment, effects of social environment on behavior and identity.

(On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)1 Classifies the features that distinguish human from other species.2 Can describe behaviour theories with basic features and can compare theories.3 Describes human’s interaction with the social environment general aspect in the frame of social psychology approaches.4 Can evaluate interpret the behaviours he observed in his environment, primarily his own in the light of acquired knowledge with a new viewpoint.
