OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS |
Objectives of the Course Unit: |
At the end of the course, students learn the material properties of machine elements and aim to select the right machine elements and make strength calculations in various situations. |
Contents of the Course Unit: |
It covers the topics of material selection, solder bonds, adhesive bonds, welding bonds, perine bonds, bolt bonds, pins, shaft hub bonds, springs, axles and shafts, plain bearings, bearings, belt and pulley mechanisms, gear wheels. |

Performs strength calculations of removable and non-removable fasteners. |
