Objectives of the Course Unit: | This course aims to teach the historical development of folklore and the basic concepts of this discipline. |
Contents of the Course Unit: | The content of this course consists of the conditions that paved the way for the birth of the term and discipline of Folklore in Europe, as well as the first and pioneering studies in this field and theories and theories that emerged along with the historical development of folklore. |

They are the cultural remnants of the Turkish people, dating from the dawn of Anatolia and surviving to our time in a more or less distorted form. The subject of folklore is everything unique to the people, providing a means of revealing their anonymous manners, knowledge, traditions, and all forms of social action. |
