OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The aim of the course is to provide a conceptual perspective on mythology as a discipline and to inform students about the birth of mythology, its meaning, and its effects on the history of civilization.
Contents of the Course Unit: What is mythology? The relationship between archaeology and mythology, the influence of the mythologies of other world cultures on each other, and the birth of Classical Greek mythology and the elements that influenced it will be discussed.

Learn the concept of mythology,
Learn the relationship between Greek and Roman mythology,
Understands the place and importance of Greek and Roman mythology in the tourist guiding profession.
