| Objectives of the Course Unit: | This course aims to provide fundamental knowledge and skills in network management and security by teaching the basic concepts of computer networks, network design models, network devices, and cabling methods. |
| Contents of the Course Unit: | The history of the internet, network communication and topologies, types of networks, devices and cabling, LAN network setup using Cisco Packet Tracer, OSI and TCP/IP models, IP addressing, subnetting, network testing commands, wireless networks, and firewall management are covered as fundamental network topics. |
