OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: Providing awareness of the risks inherent in the environments where data is circulated and stored, and gaining conceptual competence regarding the methods for eliminating these risks.
Contents of the Course Unit: Basic security concepts, Threats to data security, Encryption methods and techniques, Attacks that threaten security and protection methods, Malware, Cyber ​​crimes, Network security.

Defines basic concepts related to information security and end-user security.
Describes common cyber threats (malware, phishing, social engineering, etc.) and assesses the impact of these threats on end users.
