OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: To raise awareness about the legal aspects of data security and its applications, and to inform about the legal regulations in force in this field.
Contents of the Course Unit: The importance and place of IT law; Establishing contracts on the Internet; Information Technologies and Labor Law; Electronic commerce; Electronic signature; Intellectual Property Rights on the Internet; Information technology and personal rights; Types of crimes arising from IT; Internet broadcasting and international law; Information technology law and data security; Procedures to be applied in cases of rights violations; Blocking access.
