OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	Ortezler, kullanılan materyalin seçimi, ortez tipleri ve özellikleri, engel durumlarına uygun ortez seçimi ve kullanımı, günlük yaşam aktiviteleri (GYA) kapsamında ortez kullanımı ve mobilitenin artırılması, protezlerin temel prensipleri ve amputasyonun fizyolojik ve psikolojik etkileri ve rehabilitasyon işlemlerini anlamaya ilişkin bilgi ve becerilerin kazandırılması amaçlanmaktadır.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Üst-alt esktremite ve gövde ortezleri, ortezlerin endikasyonları ve günlük yaşamda kullanım alanları, üst ve alt ekstremite protezleri, farklı protez tiplerine ve ampütasyon seviyesine göre uygun protez parçalarının seçimi, ampute rehabilitasyonu ve günlük yaşam aktiviteleri(GYA).

Protezi oluşturan parçaları ve üretim süreçlerini açıklayabilir.
Ampute veya konjenital ekstremite noksanlığı olan hasta için uygun protezi seçebilir.
Amputelerde uygun tedavi programını uygulayabilir.
Protez endikasyonu olan hastalarda rehabilitasyon evrelerine göre gerekli değerlendirmeleri uygulayabilir.
Protez kullanan hastalarda protezin uyumunu, gerekli biyomekaniksel ayarlamaları ve sonuçlarını karşılaştırabilir.
Ortez endikasyonu olan hastalarda uygulama öncesi ve sonrası gerekli değerlendirmeleri uygulayabilir.
Ortez kullanan hastalarda ortezin uyumunu ve modifikasyon gerekliliğini açıklayabilir.
Ortezin etkinliğini artıracak tedavi programını uygulayabilir.
Ortez ve protez alanındaki güncel teknolojik gelişmelerin takip edilmesinin önemini açıklayabilir.
Ortez ve protez uygulamaları ile olası komplikasyonları ilişkilendirebilir.
