OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: It is aimed to gain knowledge regarding the basic structure and functioning mechanisms of all systems that constitute the human body.
Contents of the Course Unit: Nervous system physiology, motor control and autonomic nervous system, sensory physiology, digestive system physiology, endocrine system physiology, endocrine system disorders, reproductive system physiology, pregnancy physiology, exercise physiology, underwater and high-altitude physiology.

Explains the contraction mechanism of the muscle.
Compares the energy sources used in muscle contraction.
Explains the effects of exercise on the muscular system.
Discovers the adaptation mechanisms in the respiratory system through exercise.
Discovers the adaptation mechanisms in the heart and circulatory system through exercise.
Explains the effects of exercise on endocrine, nervous and excretory system.
Explains the basic concepts of sensory physiology.
Explains physiological changes that occur under extreme conditions.
