OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: It is aimed to gain knowledge and skills about the applications and basic concepts of adult perfusion techniques.
Contents of the Course Unit: Components of extracorporeal circulation, cardio-pulmonary bypass techniques, perfusion, myocardial protection, systemic hypothermia, conservation techniques, selective cerebral perfusion, fighting complications during perfusion, congestive heart failure, hemodiafiltration, cyanotic congenital heart diseases, adult congenital heart diseases diseases

Explain adult perfusion techniques.
Apply adult perfusion techniques appropriately and adequately.
Summarize the components of extracorporeal circulation.
