OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The aim of this course is to teach the definition, physiopathology and treatment methods of cardiovascular diseases to the extent required by the profession.
Contents of the Course Unit: Introduction to heart diseases (Classification, incidence), physiopathology of coronary artery disease, diagnosis of coronary artery disease and accompanying pathologies of coronary artery disease, treatment methods of coronary artery disease. Development and diagnosis of heart valve diseases, clinic in heart valve diseases, treatment of heart valve diseases (noninvasive and invasive approaches), approach in congenital heart diseases (prevalence, classification, permanent and temporary treatment methods), clinic of congenital heart patients, noninvasive and temporary treatment methods in congenital heart diseases. invasive approaches, diagnosis and treatment of hypertension, diagnosis and treatment of heart rhythm disorders
