OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	Mikroorganizmaların yapılarına, sınıflandırılmalarına, genel özelliklerine, mikroorganizmaların gelişmesi ve çoğalması için gerekli şartlara ve hastalık oluşturma mekanizmalarına; önemli enfeksiyon, hastalık etkenlerini ve korunma yollarına ilişkin bilgi kazandırılması amaçlanmaktadır.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Mikrobiyolojiye Giriş ve Tarihçe, Mikroorganizmaların Yapısı ve Genel Özellikleri, Mikroorganizmalarda Gelişme ve Çoğalma, Mikrobiyal Metabolizma ve Genetik, Mikroorganizma-Konak Arası İlişkiler, Vücudun Mikrobiyal Florası, Enfeksiyon Bulaşma Yolları, Dezenfeksiyon, Antisepsi ve Sterilazyon, Bakterilerin Genel Özellikleri, Önemli Bakteriyel Etkenler, Virüslerin Genel Özellikleri, Önemli Viral Etkenler, Mantarların Genel Özellikleri, Önemli Mantar ve Küfler, Parazitlerin Genel Özellikleri, Önemli Parazit Etkenler, Mikrobiyal Tanı Yöntemleri, Antibiyotik Etki Mekanizmaları, Antibakteriyal İlaçlara Karşı Direnç Gelişimi, Temel İmmünoloji ve Bağışıklık.
