OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: To provide students with a comprehensive knowledge of the psychology of aging by transferring information about psychic changes in aging processes, teaching that psychological aging processes consist of developments not only associated with losses but also with gains.
Contents of the Course Unit: Successful aging, pathological aging, gerontopsychological theories; psychological diseases in old age; to die and death.

Have knowledge about the psychology of aging.
Gerontopsychological research methods are applied
Gerontopsychological theories are learned.
