OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	Geçmişten günümüze kadar ortaya sürülmüş biyolojik yaşlanmayı açıklayan teorileri ve bu teorilerden günümüzde en geçerli olanların ilişkin bilgilerin kazandırılması amaçlanmaktadır.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Biyolojik yaşlanmanın evrimsel yaşlanma; yaşam hızı; kullanma ve eskitme; programlanmış yaşlanma; ailesel uzun ömürlülük; nöroendokrin sistemi; bağışıklık sistemi; somatik mutasyon; DNA tamir; hatalar ve tamirler; atık ürün birikimi; çapraz bağlanma; serbest radikal teorileri.
