OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: It is aimed to gain the necessary knowledge about the application of basic audiological tests and interpretation of the results.
Contents of the Course Unit: Audiometer; working principles, basic parts, test environment, quiet room and test rules, Air and bone conduction, Pure tone threshold determination tests, Speech audiometry, and Audiological evaluation tests, hearing losses, hearing aids, implants and assistive listening devices, language and speech development in hearing losses, audiological and immitansmetric evaluation tests and interpretation of results.
