OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: It is aimed to gain knowledge, skills and attitudes related to how emotions, behaviors and thoughts are affected by social structure and process.
Contents of the Course Unit: The historical process of the field, main theoretical and methodological issues, social cognition, stereotypes, prejudice and discrimination, social and cultural context.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Examines the field of interest of social psychology, aims and relationship with other social sciences.
Shows concern in the importance of differences.
Selects to interpret personal observations and experiments with the course subjects.
Examines the theoretical, methodological and ethical issues that direct social psychology research.
