OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	It is aimed to learn basic theoretical and practical information about massage techniques, to learn the basic concepts in terms of evaluation and application in different situations where massage is used, to develop the ability to apply, and to gain knowledge and skills about developing problem solving skills in the field of physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Mechanical, physiological, psychological and reflex effects of specific massage techniques, evaluation methods to be used in determining post-application effectiveness, practical applications, indications and contraindications of these methods.

Applies the therapeutic massage.
Explains the basic information about the reflex, mechanical, physiological and clinical effects of massage methods and techniques.
Evaluates massage therapy.
Applies massage as a treatment option in cases where massage therapy is indicated.
Explain the pathologies that may be contraindicated to massage.
Applies the taught methods and techniques.
Applies the decision-making process for the clinical use of massage practice.
