OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: It is aimed to gain knowledge and skills about the basic principles and practices of Public Health Nursing.
Contents of the Course Unit: General Concepts and Definitions in Public Health, Public Health Nursing and Its Historical Development, Organization of Health Services in Turkey and General Health Problems, Health Protection Levels, Early Diagnosis, Screening and Health Promotion, Community Diagnosis, Community Communication and Health Education, Family Health Nursing and Home Visits Process, School Health Services and School Health Nursing, Elderly Health Nursing, Home Care Nursing, Occupational Health and Nursing, Environmental Health, Control of Infectious Diseases, Community Mental Health, Risky Groups in the Community.
