OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: It is aimed to provide students with information about basic Otorhinolaryngology diseases that may affect hearing and language development.
Contents of the Course Unit: Basic ENT, anatomy and balance physiology, major neurological disorders, external and middle ear pathologies, common and inner ear pathologies, other inner ear pathologies, eighth nerve (head pair) pathologies, basic otoscopy, audiological emergencies, common laryngological pathologies, common rhinological pathologies and their consequences, differential diagnosis of common auditory disorders, general evaluation, ENT diseases that may affect hearing and language development.

Describes the pathologies of ear nose and throat.
Summarizes the differential diagnosis of otolaryngology pathologies.
Describes the treatment methods of ear, nose and throat diseases that are frequently encountered in the clinic according to their pathophysiology, clinical symptoms and findings.
Lists the balance physiology, the causes of dizziness related to ENT.
Describes the audiology emergencies.
