OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: It is aimed to gain information about the anatomical structures that make up the vestibular system, vestibular system physiology and vestibular system diseases, test methods used in the evaluation of the vestibular system, vestibular system and diseases.
Contents of the Course Unit: Recognition of the vestibular system, vestibular diseases and VNG tests , caloric, positional tests, posturography, VEMP used during vestibular evaluation, peripheral and central vestibular system diseases, etiology, symptoms and audiological findings.

Describes the anatomical and physiological features of the vestibular system.
Discovers the working principles of the peripheral and central vestibular system.
Describes the basic concepts of vestibular system and its diseases.

Describes the basic features of vestibular assessment.
Describes the application principles of the tests used in the evaluation of vestibular patients.
