OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The objective of the course is to provide the students with the skills to apply basic techniques specific to Teakwondo.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include; definition and historical development of Teakwondo, Teakwondo terminology, basic technical classifications, Salon and competition rules in Teakwondo, punching techniques, kick techniques, pumse forms, combined basic techniques and competition techniques.

Describe the basic concepts related with Taekwondo.
Use equipment and materials related to the Taekwondo.
Explain and apply the competition rules related with Taekwondo.
