OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS |

Objectives of the Course Unit: | Recognizing the characteristics of the Turkish Revolution and similar concepts, the reforms made by the Ottoman Empire before the Turkish Revolution, the importance of Atatürk's Revolutions, the emergence of the Kemalist thought system and its effect on the reforms to be made by the new Turkish Republic, Turkish War of Independence and the Republic and Atatürk's Revolutions. It is aimed to gain information about learning the elements that threaten the human life. |
Contents of the Course Unit: | Turkish Revolution (Modernization Movements in the New Turkish State), Political Revolutions, Abolition of Sultanate, Proclamation of the Republic and the Concept of the Republic, Abolition of the Caliphate, 1924 Constitution, Revolutions in the Field of Social and Health, Dress Regulation, Hat Law, Surname Law, Abolition of Sects, Lodge, Tomb Closing of Zawiyas and Zawiyas, Calendar, Clock, Changes in the Measurement System, Women's Rights and Development, Revolution in the Field of Law, Adoption of the Civil Code, Concepts of the State of Law and the Rule of Law, Revolutions in the Field of Culture and Education, Revolution in Letters, Language and History, Educational Revolution and Its Importance , Principles to be Applied in Education, Revolutions Made in the Field of Economics, Economic Goals in Early Republican Turkey, İzmir Economic Congress, Mixed Economy Project, Relative Liberalism between 1923 and 1929, Statism between 1929 and 1939, Kemalist Thought System and the Founder of New Turkey Principles, Policies Against the Rising Threat of War, Blocky Yesterday or Turkey, Political and Social Developments in Turkey Between 1960 and 1980. |
