OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS |
Objectives of the Course Unit: |
This course aims to bring knowledge to students about the theoretical frameworks of social service and to teach the students how to use these theories in the practices of social service. |
Contents of the Course Unit: |
Contents of the course include forming application frameworks of social service, as a discipline and a profession, upon its approach, theories and models. |

Explain occupational social service intervention with the knowledge of system approach to families and groups |
Comprehend the importance of crisis intervention approach from the point of social service profession. |
Apply crisis intervention approach to individuals and families |
Examine the process of social service interference in the professional by favour of his / her knowledge about frameworks of social service application |
Design social working process in the light of the principles of Rights-based approach |
Choose approaches and theories befitting the occupational identity |
