OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS |
Objectives of the Course Unit: |
The aim of this course is to teach the function and operation principles of navigation and air navigation systems. |
Contents of the Course Unit: |
Explain the function and working principle of the navigation systems on airplane and ground, the necessity of using radio waves for transfer of information in navigation systems, the working principles of satellite based navigation systems and their usage areas. |

Classify the navigation systems according to their working principles, range and usage purposes. |
Explain the phases of the flight systems and the purpose of the flight. |
