OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: With this course, it is aimed that students understand the design and logic hydraulic and pneumatic systems (pressure, force, and motion laws), hydraulic / pneumatic circuit components.
Contents of the Course Unit: Basic Principles of Hydraulics and Fluids (laws of pressure, force and motion), Basic Principles of Hydraulics and Fluids, Hydraulic Systems and Circuit Elements, Pneumatic Systems and Circuit Elements, Design of Hydraulic and Pneumatic Circuits.

Define hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Explain the functions and physical properties of hydraulic fluids. (
Compare hydraulic fluid power, force, pressure business concepts.
Interpret hydrostatic pressure, fluid power transmission and hydraulic power systems.
