OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to provide the students with the basic concepts and principles of physics in a clear and logical way.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include subjects of physical magnitudes, vectors, motion, particle kinematics and dynamics, work-energy and conservation laws, collision, kinematics and dynamics of rotating bodies, equilibrium of solids, oscillations, gravity, fluid mechanics.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Explain the basic concept, basic magnitude and measuring units of physics.
Use the principles of physics in understanding and problem solving
Define vectoral and scalar quantities.
Explain the concepts of displacement, velocity and momentum with linear movement.
