OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to enable the student to write according to writing and drawing standards, to draw basic geometric shapes and to draw and dimension the appearances of aircraft parts of which the perspectives are given by using the basic trace projection.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include the subjects of definition of technical drawing and standards, Line types and application areas, Standard paper sizes, Geometric drawings, Basic views (Projections) and Appearances of Objects, Drawing Rules, Projection Method, Section views, types of scans, Dimensioning, Basic dimensioning rules, lines used in dimensioning.

Describe basic concepts related with technical drawing.
Describe the rules of drawing and scanning letterhead
Apply technical drawing tools.
Define the shape and dimensions of aircraft parts
